Police arrested a bank robbery suspect today in Kane'ohe at 3:15 p.m.

Justin Waihea Tilton, 24, was identified earlier today in a Honolulu CrimeStoppers bulletin as the man who allegedly robbed the Kalihi branch of American Savings Bank on Jan. 23. Windward O'ahu Crime Reduction Unit officers arrested Tilton at 45-697 Kamehameha Hwy. without incident.

Tilton was booked for first-degree robbery and is being held on two misdemeanor warrants and two petty misdemeanor warrants totalling $3,125 pending likely federal charges for the robbery.

With the arrest of Tilton, police have resolved all of O'ahu's six bank robberies in 2008.

Richard K. Talumi, 20, and William Avian Mara, 33, have been charged in federal complaints with two robberies each while Ellis Cleveland, also known as Cleveland Ellis, has been charged with four robberies, including one in 2008.
