Nominations being accepted for Ilima Awards

Marketing and communication professionals and students throughout the state are invited to enter their best works of 2007 in this year's 'Ilima Awards competition, hosted by the Hawai'i chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators.Categories include: communication programs; special events, emerging technologies, video/multimedia/electronic program, marketing communication, internal publication, external publication, special print communication, publication design, writing, and photography/illustration.
The "early bird" deadline for entries is Feb. 22. The final deadline is Feb. 29. Cost to enter is $60 per entry for IABC members and $70 for non-members. The IABC student member rate is $20 per entry and $25 for all other students. Entrants submitting by the early bird deadline will receive a $10 discount. Entries with check should be mailed to: Linda Howe c/o Alexander & Baldwin Inc., 822 Bishop Street, Honolulu, HI 96813. Entry forms are available online at www.iabchawaii.com.
Winners will be announced at the IABC's Ilima Awards Dinner on April 24 at the Ala Moana Hotel.
