Big Island police are asking for the public's help in locating a 22-year-old woman who has been reported missing from her Hilo home.

Eva Marie Schmidtke is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-2, about 130 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call Officer John McCarron at 961-2216 or the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
