TONIGHT'S MIGHT-SEES

"Hell's Kitchen," 8 p.m., Fox. We're down to the final two now, a clash of opposites.

Louis Petrozza is 47, a catering director in Charlotte, N.C. Christina Machamer is 25, a culinary student from St. Louis.

Tonight, they make their signature dishes for the five executive chefs of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants. Then they must design and run a restaurant.

Next week, we learn who has won and will run Ramsay's new Los Angeles spot.

"P.O.V.: Election Day," 10 p.m., PBS This film will shame anyone who ever failed to vote. Cameras glimpse a dozen different spots on Election Day, 2004.

In Shaker Heights, Ohio, a young mother survives bureaucracy, refusing to be denied a vote. In Cincinnati, personalized pencils become a key write-in tool. In Dearborn, Mich., a Palestinian man says this isn't his first election day — but it's the first with choices.

Through all the frustrations, we see glimmers of idealism.

OF NOTE

"NCIS," 7 p.m., CBS. The team needs someone to impersonate an Englishman in his 60s. That's ideal duty for Ducky, who's played by Scottish native David McCallum, 74.

"Moment of Truth," 7 p.m., Fox. The network people say this is the summer finale. Let's hope they're telling the truth.

"Celebrity Family Feud," 7 p.m., NBC. Last week's opener was shabby, but we can hope for improvement. Tonight, Vincent Pastore ("The Sopranos") heads one team, facing Hugh Hefner's women from "The Girls Next Door." Then teams are led by Kathie Lee Gifford and Dog the Bounty Hunter.

"America's Got Talent," 8-10 p.m., NBC. Auditions continue, sending acts to Las Vegas.

"Wide Angle" season-opener, 9 p.m., PBS. Aaron Brown, a smart newsman, has been missing since CNN lost interest in him. Now he's back, anchoring a show that has an international view. The opener, "Heart of Darfur," looks at life in a Sudanese refugee camp.

"30 Days," 7:05 p.m. (following a mini-"Rescue Me" at 7 p.m.), FX. After last week's grim stalemate, the show returns to it usual, upbeat style. Two likable people — one anti-gun, the other a gun zealot — find respect for each other.
