Surf: 3 to 5 feet expected along south shores today

Advertiser Staff

Surf along Oahu's south shore has dropped just a bit from yesterday, but should still be in the 3- to 5-foot range today, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere, look for surf of 1 to 3 feet along east- and north facing shores, and 2 to 4 feet along west-facing shores.

Outlook through Monday, July 7: The small south swell will linger through the weekend then dissipate Sunday night. A small north-northwest swell will gradually subside Wednesday. A small brief northwest swell expected Wednesday night will taper off through Thursday. Another small northwest swell may show up Saturday night and last through Monday.
