Kaimuki stabbing suspect arrested

Police today arrested a 27-year-old Kaimuki man for investigation of attempted second-degree murder in connection with yesterday's early morning stabbing of a man found lying outside a Wai'alae Avenue convenience store.

The suspect was arrested at his 2nd Avenue home at 5:50 p.m.

Police said the injured man had over a dozen puncture wounds, possibly incurred in a fight. He was taken in stable condition to The Queen's Medical Center. Police responded at 1:15 a.m.

While at the scene, investigators located a second injured man with serious lacerations to his arm. He was also taken to Queen's.
