Things to do today: Comics, cribbage

Advertiser Staff

If your son or daughter is big into anime or just loves comics in general, head over to the Kapolei Public Library tonight to meet and learn from the creators of "Nemu Nemu."

"Nemu Nemu" is an online anime comic. The creators will be at the library at 6:30 p.m. as part of the 2008 HSPLS Teen Summer Reading Program.

This is a chance to learn more about Nemu and Anpan, magical stuffed toy pups and their owners Anise and Kana.

If you're looking for something to do that you can carry with you forever, head over to the Ice Bar at the Honolulu Design Center and meet Fred White. From 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays, White is giving cribbage lessons.

Cribbage is a great game for all ages. Don't miss the opportunity to learn a game that's been around for years but never gets old.
