Friends of Waialua Town and Empower Oahu are offering a micro-business training program, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday evenings from Aug. 5 to Aug. 21 at the Waialua Sugar Mill.

The training is geared for individuals who want to make or sell products, provide services such as yard maintenance, childcare or cleaning. The program is funded by Hawaii Ma'oli, Empower Oahu, the state Department of Business Economic Development and Tourism, and the Friends of Waialua Town.
