Sedona in Ward Centre has a trunk show this weekend that will appeal to DIY jewelry makers as well as those who prefer to buy jewelry readymade.

Washington stone dealer Deidre Berg will have a wide variety of stone specimens for collectors and beaders, as well as handmade jewelry with semi-precious gemstones.

Handmade jewelry from around the world will also be available. Among the offerings: Nomadic knotwork jewelry by Isha from Bali, platinum over sterling silver gemstone jewelry by Daisy Ho of Hong Kong, 14K gold and sterling silver Powerstone jewelry by Go Jolly of Oregon, handmade semi-precious stone and silver necklaces by Carina Rossner of San Francisco, and a collection of sterling silver and gemstone pieces by Starborn Creations of Maui.

The trunk show will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. For details: Malia Johnson, 591-8010.

MIZUKI TRUNK SHOW

New York jewelry designer Mizuki's work has only been available in Honolulu for a year, but she is on the radar of many Island women. Her simple, sculptural designs, some featuring Maltese crosses, stars and faceted chains, go from day to evening, jeans to gowns. Here's a chance to meet her representative, Megan Aoki, and check out the latest collections: black diamonds and the 14K gold bead collection. Trunk show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow in Neiman Marcus, level one.

PERSONALIZE YOUR BAG

At Ala Moana Center today through Sunday, Louis Vuitton is offering free personalization on small leather goods and handbags. While the service usually takes three days, this weekend it will be completed on a same-day basis.

"Customers are encouraged to bring their existing Louis Vuitton bags for consultation," said Sean Kim, director of marketing and communications for Louis Vuitton Hawai'i.
