Big Island police are asking for the public's help in finding two men wanted for questioning in connection with an agricultural theft investigation.

An employee of a farm on Milo Street in Kea'au encountered two men on the farm around 5:30 p.m. on June 21, a news release said. The men were carrying lychee and equipment for picking it.

Photos of the suspects were taken before they left the scene. The men were later identified as 44-year-old Nester Balicoco and 52-year-old James Tinao, both of Puna, police said.

Police ask anyone with information on their whereabouts to call Officer James Waiamau at 808-966-5838 or the Police Department's nonemergency line at 808-935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call CrimeStoppers at 808-961-8300 in Hilo or 808-329-8181 in Kona. All CrimeStoppers information is kept confidential.
