Anderson died yesterday at The Queen's Medical Center at 10:25 a.m.

Police vehicular homicide investigator Sgt. John Agno said the pedestrian was struck by a Ford van, driven by an 87-year-old Kane'ohe man, at the intersection of Kailua Road and Uluoa Street at 9:09 p.m.

The pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk and suffered injuries to his head and torso, Agno said. The motorist was not injured.
