KIRA

TAG NO. 08-10238

Kira is a 3-year-old tabby and white female, surrendered to us on May 14. She is sweet, playful and very friendly but doesn't much care for her current "sheltered" life. She really needs to be in a nice home — preferably a quiet one — where she can show you what a true domestic goddess is all about!

LII

TAG NO. 08-12691

Do you like big, beautiful girls with nice, long legs and lots of facial hair? Then you have come to the right place! Gorgeous, soulful Lii presents a once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity to own a really large, eye-catching canine. An owner-surrender on June 9, Lii is tan and brown, likes going on walks and will stay by your side, enjoys socializing, and loves to go outside and play. She is missing her people at the moment, but if you are patient with her, she will learn to love again.

POOPIE

TAG NO. 08-12837

"Hey, who gave me this awful name," cries poor Poopie! "I think I should be called Fur-rah Paw-cett, cuz I have so much hair!" Well, Poopie does make a point — she's got a gorgeous soft coat and long, droopy ears. This tan and black beauty was surrendered on June 10. Will you adopt her and give her a more appropriate name?

These animals may have already found homes. The Hawaiian Humane Society and McInerny Dog Park at 2700 Wai'alae Ave. are open seven days a week. For hours, directions, special events and to see more pets available for adoption, go to www.hawaiianhumane.org or call 946-2187. Call immediately to report lost or found animals.
