Things to do around Oahu today

Advertiser Staff

Didn't have any romantic fireworks over your 4th of July weekend?

Then maybe, just maybe, you should give speed dating a try. Tonight, there will be two speed dating opportunities for busy professionals to meet downtown at Du Vin on Bethel Street.

The first session at 6 p.m. is for singles ages 39 to 52, the 8 p.m. session starts at 8 p.m. for daters 26 to 39. Cost is $35.

If you're looking to date older, or younger, you'll have to check with the people at Du Vin who are running the show if you can join in outside of your age bracket. Either way, if cupid missed you on the 4th, tonight may be your lucky night.

For those of you looking for something outside of the dating world to do today, the Hawaii Kai Farmers Market is going on until 3 p.m. at the Hawaii Kai Towne Center.

It's also going to be a gorgeous beach day, but what else would you expect on a hot summer July day in paradise?
