Kids looking for culture can take advantage of summer workshops at The Contemporary Museum this month.

From July 15-17, participants can take a Japanese Kite Making workshop with Abigail Romanchak, which will include learning various methods of relief printmaking along with making a kite that actually flies.

On July 25 and 25, Jacqueline Rush Lee will teach children to create a layered and painted sculpture inspired by the found Road Strripe sculputre of Wayne Zebzda.

The workshops are aimed at children ages 6-12.

For more information and to make reservations, call Tegan Hammond at 237-5230 or visit www.tcmhi.org.
