The Alexander & Baldwin Foundation donated $25,000 last week to Maui's Kaunoa Senior Services, which administers the "Congregate Meals" and "Meals on Wheels" programs.

A&B has been a major donor since 1975, Maui County officials said.

"Year after year, their generous donations have made it possible for many seniors to participate in our nutrition programs," said Kaunoa Administrator Robin Tanaka.

A&B officials made the check presentation June 30 at Kaunoa's "Freedom Fest" attended by 300 seniors.
