Weather: Warm, humid and sticky again today

According to the national Weather Service forecast, light to moderate trade winds will continue with sea breezes forming over leeward locations in the afternoon.

Rainfall will be light with afternoon convective showers primarily over interior leeward areas, the forecast said.

Scattered light showers are moving along with trade winds out of the northeast early this morning and are traveling over windward areas of most islands.

Rain gage readings have increased over windward O'ahu with some stations receiving a little more than a tenth of an inch.

The windward side of Kaua'i also saw some showers between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m.

Rain gages on Maui and the Big Island have remain dry over night.

Here's a closer look at the next few days:

Today: Isolated showers after noon. Partly cloudy, with a high near 81. East wind between 9 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73. North wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday: Scattered showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 86. East wind between 9 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Wednesday Night: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73. East wind around 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday: Scattered showers, mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 87. East wind between 13 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Thursday Night: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 74. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
