Local designers meet for 'Pecha Kucha' Friday night

Some of Honolulu's top designers and artists will share their work at the second Pecha Kucha Night on Friday.

Pecha Kucha ("chit chat" in Japanese) offers artists a chance to mingle and share 20 images of their work in 6:40 minute installments.

This Friday's installment at the Academy Art Center at Linekona will include a focus on local architecture and its relationship to local food by Kyle Hamada and Bundit Kanisthakhon.

Other prsenters include Attila Pohlmann, Delro Rosco James McCarthy, Jesse Arneson, John Koga, Kirsten Rae Simonsen, Pia Kuhlemann, Rudie Schaefer V, Scott Groeniger, Tim John and Wendy Hakoda.

The event is free from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
