Advertiser Staff

The Hawai`i State Judiciary is sponsoring a free, public informational session, Labor Law: Termination, Unemployment, and Other Issues in Employment Law, from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, in the Supreme Court conference room, 417 S. King St. in downtown Honolulu, according to a news release.

Attorney Christopher Yeh is the featured speaker.

Yeh is a partner with Marr Hipp Jones & Wang, advising companies on a wide range of employment matters. He has successfully represented employers in numerous proceedings before state and federal courts and agencies. Yeh received his law degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School, the news release said.

Labor law is a broad legal area involving the employer/employee relationship, including termination and unemployment. Other areas covered during the session will be determined by audience interest. Employees and employers are welcome to attend.

This session is part of the Lunch 'n' Learn the Law program, a series of free seminars for the general public featuring topics that relate to specific areas of the law and the courts. Volunteer presenters include judges, attorneys, court officials and other subject-matter experts.
