Surf: In a word, downright 'puny'

Surf along south- and east-facing shores of Oahu will be 1 to 3 feet today, the National Weather Service said.

Surf along north- and west-facing shores will be 2 feet or less, according to the forecast.

Outlook through Tuesday, July 15: Occasional puny southeast swells continuing into next week. Short period northeast swell expected Saturday and continuing through the beginning of next week. A small south to south-southwest swell expected Saturday and lasting into midweek. Otherwise, no significant swells expected
