CLEAN AND GREEN

VINEGAR, THE MAGICAL CLEANSER

Harsh cleaners and solvents are not always required to get the job done. Some simple cleaning tips using vinegar, from "Martha Stewart's Good Things for a Healthy Home":

  • Clean countertops by alternating between white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. Put one on the counter, then the other and wipe.

  • For the toilet, let a half a cup of vinegar stand for a few minutes, brush the bowl and flush.

  • Mix equal parts white vinegar and hot water to clean windows and glass.
