Advertiser Staff

KAHULUI, MAUI – The Maui County Business Resource Center will hold a public open house public to an open house at its newly remodeled facility from 2 to 4 p.m. July 24.

The open house will feature the Service Corps of Retired Executives program, a Small Business Administration service that allows active and retired volunteer business executives to meet with other Maui entrepreneurs and guide them through starting or growing a business.

Organizers said the event will provide opportunities to ask SCORE counselors questions and schedule counseling sessions, network with other business professionals and learn more about small businesses on Maui.

Maui County's SCORE counselors are Richard Kehoe, Brian Thomas, Susan Kim, Jeanette Tan, Roya Deyhim, Del Teigen, Steve Rose, Larry Shapiro, Steve Pinard and Molokai's John Wordin.

Located in Maui Mall across from IHOP, the MCBRC opened in spring 2004 as a resource for new and expanding businesses. Partners of the Center include SCORE, the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs' Business Action Center, Hawaii Business Development Center, Hawaii Business Library, MEO's Business Development Corp. and the newly opened Lokahi Pacific's Pono Center.
