Things to do around Oahu today

Advertiser Staff

It's "Balloon Monsoon" day at the Pearl City Public Library today.

From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., artists will be on hand creating balloon animals and make-and-take-bug-them crafts.

The balloon monsoon is a free event.

If you've got a little French in you, check out Bastille Day at the Waikiki Yacht Club in honor of France's national holiday. Cost is $20. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and reservations can be made at 547-5852.

For those feeling a both country and classic rock, check out DJ Bull Ridin' John at Nashville Waikiki. The jams run from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
