WAIPAHU
Free help to apply for tax stimulus will be available

The Waipahu Community Association and Waipahu Weed & Seed are providing free tax preparation services for those who may be eligible but have not yet received economic stimulus checks from the Internal Revenue Service.

The service will be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on two days, Thursday and July 25, at the Waipahu Festival Marketplace at 94-340 Waipahu Depot St., the old BigWay Supermarket. The service is first come, first served. No appointments are being taken.

For more information, call 677-6939, ext. 25.

The community association noted that more than 24,000 Hawai'i residents have yet to file for their stimulus checks.
