Police tonight arrested a 53-year-old man for investigation of a fatal stabbing in Makiki.

The victim was found at Cartwright Park with multiple stab wounds at 6:40 p.m. and was taken in critical condition to an area hospital, according to Emergency Services spokesman Bryan Cheplic.

The man died at The Queen's Medical Center, police said.

The suspect was arrested in the parking lot of a nearby supermarket.
