3 Makaha stabbing suspects arrested

Advertiser Staff

Attempted-murder charges are pending tonight against two women and a man in connection with last night's stabbing in Makaha.

A man, 30, is hospitalized in serious but stable condition, police said, after being stabbed multiple times in Makaha in the area of 84-638 Farrington Hwy. while trying to break up a fight between a 39-year-old woman complainant and four people, three of them women.

The woman complainant was punched in the face by one of the suspects and suffered a broken jaw.

Three of the four suspects were arrested at 84-646 Farrington Hwy., where they reside, at 11:40 p.m.

Police are investigating the incident as an attempted murder on the stabbing victim and second-degree assault for the jaw-breaking punch. A 21-year-old woman suspect was still at large today.
