WINDWARD HO'OLAULE'A

The eighth annual Windward Ho'olaule'a boasts a lineup of Na Hoku Hanohano Award winners — including Hoku Zuttermeister, Cyril Pahinui, Kaukahi and Pilioha — and arts and crafts, food, silent auction, keiki games and Imaginarium shows.

It happens from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 27 on the Windward Community College campus. This year's theme is "Pulama ka hanauna hou — Nurturing the Next Generation."

Displays will focus on WCC programs that emphasize sustainability and cultural awareness. There's a used-book and white-elephant sale, too.

Admission is free. www.windward.hawaii.edu/hoolaulea.
