STATE FARM INSURANCE

State Farm Insurance has appointed Kaina Kauahi as an agent. He held several management positions at State Farm offices in California, New York, Arizona and Georgia before coming home to Hawai'i.

Kauahi is a full-service agent, providing a variety of insurance and financial products.

HUGGO'S

Huggo's restaurant has added Gregory Peterson to its staff as general manager. Peterson brings 37 years of industry experience to the position. He will be responsible for managing staff at both Huggo's and Huggo's on the Rocks.

WASTE MANAGEMENT OF HAWAII

Waste Management of Hawaii has hired Justin Lottig as market area environmental protection manager of its Waimanalo Gulch, Kekaha and West Hawai'i landfill sites. Lottig was most recently consulting for Waimanalo Gulch Landfill with Earth Tech, a global provider of consulting, engineering and construction services.

ASSOCIATION OF CERTIFIED FRAUD EXAMINERS

The Hawaii Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners recently elected the following board of directors: president, Jeffrey Norton (continuing); vice president/secretary, Margie Sasaki; treasurer, Natalie Iwasa (continuing); and directors, Neva Keras (continuing) and Trinh Wilbur.
