Kona Brewery opening airport location

Kona Brewing Company and HMSHost will open a new location in the Honolulu International Airport mainland terminal on Wednesday.

The Air Pub will offer the brewery's flagship beers – Longboard Island Lager, Fire Rock Pale Ale, Big Wave Golden Ale, Wailua Wheat and Pipeline Porter. In addition, it will offer pupu, salads, sandwiches, entrees, gourmet pizzas and desserts.

Kona Brewing Company's airport pub will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.

Founded in 1994, Kona Brewing Company packaged its first batch of beer in February 1995 and now has three restaurant sites in Hawai'i and beer distribution reaching 22 states, Japan and China.
