Waipahu raid nets 43 illegal immigrants

Advertiser Staff

Forty-three illegal male immigrants from Mexico were arrested yesterday in a U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement raid at a Waipahu apartment complex.

ICE agents assisted by the U.S. Marshals Service, state sheriff's deputies and Coast Guard Invesigative Service issued nine federal search warrants during the raid at the Oasis at Waipahu complex at 94-207 Waipahu St.

The illegals arrested provided fraudulent information to gain farm work, ICE officials said.
