Breezy and wet conditions dominate today's forecast across the state and should continue through Wednesday as the remains of a tropical system passes south of the Hawaiian Islands, the National Weather Service said.

The system will bring increased trade wind showers, particularly across the windward side of the Big Island. Forecasters said there is a chance isolated thunderstorms may develop over windward and southeastern Big Island and the adjacent coastal waters this afternoon and tonight.
