A 36-year-old man was arrested in Kalihi yesterday afternoon on suspicion of first-degree burglary and two counts of contempt.

Police officers responded at 1:45 p.m. to reports of suspicious persons driving into carports of unoccupied residences. They located two suspects in the area and one was arrested for outstanding warrants. Officers later found evidence and witnesses linking the arrested suspect to an unreported burglary in the area.
