Symphony single tickets go on sale Aug. 4

Advertiser Staff

The Honolulu Symphony will kick off single ticket sales at 9 a.m. Aug. 4 for its Halekulani MasterWorks and select Toyota Pops concert series.

Some events —like the Beethoven Festival in the masterworks series and Diana Krall's appearance under the pops banner — are only on sale to symphony season subscribers at this time.

The MasterWorks single tickets are priced from $19 to $70, reflecting a small decrease in several seating sections from last year's prices.

Pops prices are $20 to $82.

Season subscriptions are up to levels of the 2001-2002 season, said Tom Gulick, symphony executive director. "This upswing reflects the community's belief in the many benefits our local symphony orchestra offers Hawai'i, as well as their enthusiasm and respect for the symphony music-making experience," he said.

MasterWorks subscriptions are still available for as low as $104 for six concerts, and pops packages for seven shows start at $126.
