Kimo Makaula, a senior-to-be at Punahou School, has accepted a scholarship offer to play football at the University of Hawai'i.

Makaula, who played quarterback for the Buffanblu, is being recruited as a defensive end.

"I made my decision, and I'm very happy with it," Makaula told The Advertiser. "I look forward to playing for Coach Mack."
