Chaminade University has received two U.S. Department of Education grants totaling $6.5 million.

The money will be used to support the expansion and upgrades of the school's Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, the university said yesterday in a press release.

The project includes renovating laboratories, purchasing new instrumentation and starting a new bachelor of science degree in nursing.
