Surf rises along southern shores

Advertiser Staff

Surf will be 5 to 7 feet along south and 4 to 7 feet east shores today, the National Weather Service said.

Surf along west facing shores will increase to heights of 3 to 5 feet today, while surf along north shores will be 1 to 3 feet.

The south swell here now will gradually subside Friday through Sunday. A new south-southwest swell is expected Monday and Tuesday.

Moderate to strong trade winds will bring choppy surf to east facing shores, with surf heights gradually diminishing today and Friday.
