By Wayne Harada

So you want to be a critic, with strong feelings on where to eat, shop, stay and play tourist?

Now's your chance. Zagat, the popular online and guidebook purveyors of what to eat, where to buy and where to bunk when you're traveling, is seeking Island input.

So you can share your impressions and feelings, and vote for your best, at zagat.com.

The current survey will scope operations and properties on O'ahu, Maui, the Big Island, Kaua'i, Lana'i and Moloka'i. Those who log opinions now through Aug. 31 will receive a complimentary copy of Zagat's 2009 Hawai'i guide.

The survey will cover properties on the islands of Oahu, Maui, Hawaii (the Big Island), Kaua'i, Lanai and Moloka'i. Surveyors are asked to review each property based on varying appeal, cost, value and service categories. Those who cast their votes at ZAGAT.com from now until August 31, 2008 will receive a complimentary copy of the Zagat's 2009 Hawaii guide when it is published. Zagat collects more than 300,000 surveyors worldwide in compiling useful and precise data from avid consumers.
