FAIR WIND, BIG ISLAND OCEAN GUIDES

Christopher Blunt has been named special events and groups sales manager at Fair Wind, Big Island Ocean Guides. Blunt will be responsible for cultivating new groups and events including the local market.

A veteran with the hospitality industry, Blunt was previously sales manager at the Mauna Lani Bay Resort, national sales manager at Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa and Marriott's director of national accounts.

HAWAII SOCIETY OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS

The Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants has elected its 2008-09 officers and directors. Elected to serve from July 1 to June 30, 2009, are: Melanie King, president (Bank of Hawaii); Wendell Lee, president-elect (Accuity LLP); Jason Yoshimi (HEMIC) and Warren Wee (Hawaii Pacific University), secretary-treasurer.

HAWAIIUSA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION

HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union has promoted Dennis Su to the position of branch manager of the Mililani branch. Su replaces Rachel Miyashiro, who retired from the credit union. He has been with the credit union for seven years and was previously the assistant manager at HawaiiUSA FCU's main branch in Downtown Honolulu.
