Palama Settlement will offer a free football training and clinic Saturday.

The event is in partnership with the University of Hawai'i and McKinley High School football teams. There are a limited number of openings for ages 8 to 13.

The event runs from 8:15 a.m. to noon at the Palama Settlement gym, at 810 N. Vineyard Blvd.

Pre-registration is required.

Special guests include several UH football players and former NFL player Chris Fuamatu-Maafala.
