Students at the American Renaissance Academy will present their first-ever musical production from 6 to 7:30 p.m. tonight in the campus' Building 1762 at Kalaeloa, formerly the Barbers Point Naval Air Station.

"Once On This Island" is co-directed by Hawai'i theater veterans Christopher Lowe and Kristian Lei. The play is about a peasant girl who dreams of living in the world of the rich. Cast members range from 4 to 15 years old.

Donations taken at the door will go to the school's drama club.
