The blessing for Makiki Community Library has been moved to tomorrow at 10 a.m.

The blessing was originally set for tonight, the first night of the Rediscover Makiki event at Makiki District Park.

Rediscover Makiki festivities will be held tomorrow as well, including an evening movie in the park, food vendors, free entertainment and other attractions.

Makiki Community Library has been closed for three years. It is set to reopen at the end of the year.

The Rediscover Makiki event runs from 4 to 10 p.m. today, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. tomorrow.

The event is sponsored by the city, Friends of Makiki Library and Hui o Makiki.
