Surf: South shores down to 2-4 feet today

Advertiser Staff

Surf along the south-facing shores of O'ahu will drop a bit today to 2 to 4 feet, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere on Oahu, look for surf of 1 to 2 feet along west-facing shores, 2 to 4 feet along east-facing shores and 2 feet or less along north-facing shores.

Outlook through Thursday, July 31: The current south swell will continue to lower through Sunday. A small south-southwest swell may arrive by late Monday, peak on Tuesday, then slowly lower through Thursday. Small short period easterly swells will continue through the forecast period.

Only tiny, easterly trade wind swell wrap is expected along select north-facing shores.
