3-on-3 basketball tournament set for Manoa Valley District Park

The fifth annual Hawaii Street Sports B-Ball Battle 3-on-3 basketball tournament is scheduled for Aug. 2 and 3 at Manoa Valley District Park.

Games in male and female divisions, ages 8 and up, are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. each day.

Winning teams will represent Hawaii Team Sports in Hoop Jam, Aug. 16 and 17 at Aloha Stadium.

Tes Whitlock, a former University of Hawai'i and pro player, also will host the Off the Bench Youth Basketball Clinic for ages 6 to 15 both days from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on court #1.

There also will be a Rim Rocker Slam Dunk Contest and Three Point Shootout and entertainment.
