Australia's Mitchell wins seventh Molokai to Oahu Paddleboard title in a row

Australia's Jamie Mitchell won the QuiksilverEdition Moloka'i to O'ahu Paddleboard Race for the seventh consecutive year today.

Mitchell completed the 32-mile course in 4 hours, 57 minutes, 14 seconds. Runner-up Jackson English of Australia came in more than 20 minutes later at 5:17:23.

It was the second consecutive year that Mitchell finished more than 20 minutes ahead of the rest of the field.

Honolulu firefighter Brian Rocheleau placed third overall and was the first from Hawai'i with a time of 5:19:22.

Kanesa Duncan of Honolulu won the women's division with a time of 6:28:12.

Mikey Cote of Honolulu was the first to finish on a stock paddleboard in 5:48:15.

Duane DeSoto of 'Ewa was first in the stand-up paddle division in 6:47:06.
