Two women, one from Maui and the other a visitor, were injured today on Maui in a collision involving four vehicles that shut down Honoapi'ilani Highway near Olowalu for about 30 minutes.

One of the women was taken to Maui Memorial Medical Center in serious condition following the 10 a.m. collision, which police said was caused by a driver attempting to overtake three other vehicles.
