David Wayne Aldridge, 18, was riding a Mongoose bicycle when struck by the truck on the highway, six-tenths of a mile north of Nui Avenue at 1:35 a.m. Aldridge later died at The Queen's Medical Center.

Based on evidence recovered from the scene, police identified the suspect vehicle involved. The Cutaway has a red cab, chrome outside mirrors, black flat bed, and yellow lights above the cab. There is damage to the right front lamp assembly and right outside mirror of the vehicle.
