WAHIAWA
Donate school supplies Saturday through Lions

The Wahiawa Lions will collect donations of school supplies or money from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday near the Longs at the Wahiawa Shopping Center.

The supplies will go to needy children in Wahiawa area schools.

Supplies needed include No. 2 pencils, red and black ballpoint pens, three-hole wide-ruled binder paper, portfolios with inside bottom pockets, bar and pencil-top erasers, glue, paper towels, napkins, facial tissue, liquid soap, boxes of crayons (8 large, 16 or 24), Crayola colored pencils and marker sets, watercolor paint sets, composition books, permanent black markers, yellow highlighters, manila folders, and 5- to 6-inch Fiskars scissors. A full list is posted at major retailers selling school supplies.
