Honolulu pro Tadd Fujikawa shot a 10-over-par 82 Friday in the second round and will miss the cut in the Japan Golf Tour's Sun Chlorella Classic at Otaru Country Club in Hokkaido.

Takuya Taniguchi (72) and Tetsuya Haraguchi (71) were tied for the lead at 2-under 142. Fujikawa finished at 157. The players with the low 60 scores and ties advance to Saturday's third round. The projected cut was 150.

Fujikawa, a 17-year-old Moanalua High student, began the day at 3-over. Starting on the back nine, he opened with a birdie on the par-5 No. 10, but five bogeys put him at 4-over at the turn and 7-over overall. A triple-bogey on the par-4 No. 2 and bogeys at Nos. 3, 5 and 7 dropped him to 13-over overall.

It was Fujikawa's second consecutive missed cut in his fourth Japan Golf Tour event this year. He finished tied for 48th at The Crowns and tied for 65th at the Munsingwear Open KSB Cup, both in May. He missed the cut at last week's Nagashima Shigeo Invitational Sega Sammy Cup.
