The First Hawaiian Bank Foundation has awarded a $100,000 grant to support the Building Industry Association of Hawaii's capital campaign for its new $7.75 million Construction Training Center of the Pacific.

The contribution places The First Hawaiian Bank Foundation and First Hawaiian Bank in The Benefactor Circle, the highest level of donor giving. The donation enabled the capital campaign to reach the $6 million mark.

The Construction Training Center of the Pacific, established by the Hawaii Building Industry Foundation, provides pre-apprenticeship and continuing education for the construction industry. The new 17,000 square foot Construction Training Center of the Pacific will be located in Waipahu.
