Kapiolani construction accident victim identified

Advertiser Staff

The Honolulu Medical Examiner's office today identified the construction worker killed yesterday at a Kapi'olani Boulevard job site as Gregory K. Wong, 50, of Wai'anae.

Autopsy findings listed cause and manner of death as cranial cerebral injury due to an industrial accident.

Wong was injured when he was struck by the boom of a concrete pumping machine, which had been lifted off the ground after becoming entangled by ropes from a crane.
