HAWAI'I KAI
Child car safety seat inspections free June 14

KCAA (Kindergarten Children's Aid Association) Kuapa Preschool will hold a free infant, toddler and booster seat inspection by certified safety technicians from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 14.

The free inspections are open to the community and will be offered at the school, at 6774 Hawai'i Kai Drive.

Hawai'i law requires that any child under 8 years of age be secured in a safety seat.

The event is sponsored by KCAA Preschools of Hawai'i; The Queen's Medical Center's Trauma Services, Injury Prevention; Risk Insurance Management Society Inc.; and the Keiki Injury Prevention Coalition.

Those interested should bring their child safety seat or seats, any instruction manuals, the car used to transport the children and the vehicle's owner's manual. For questions, call Cora at 537-7059.
